DIFFRACTION
• You know how magpie feathers look black until you see them in sunlight, and then they are a rainbow of colours? This is due to something called diffraction. This colour reminds us of the same - it looks black, but its layered with gorgeous teal green for a colour thats not quite black, but not quite green.

Gorgeous and soft!

This is a beautiful, squishy worsted-weight yarn. Colour is intriguing and will be lovely with my existing skein of Evening Gown in the shawl I’m making! I do find it splits fairly easily, which means I have to be more careful than usual and can’t take my eyes off my work for long, even just in simple knit stitch, but it will be worth it.

Beautiful yarn base, soft and squishy. Deep saturated rich colour. Always love my yarn from here.

Disappointed with the dye staturation

I love all of the sock yarn I have from MidKnit Cravings, but the sport weight yarn was not dyed all the way through to the core of the yarn and I can see white throughout my knitting. I was disappointed with this, as all other brands of sport yarn (including hand dyed) that I have used have always been dyed to the core. Customer service confirmed this is normal for their yarn. I did receive excellent customer service as far as answering emails quickly and also shipping it quickly which I am thankful for!
